Student Ministry
Whether you’re into graphic novels, short films or gonzo journalism (or even if you’re wondering why you’re at uni at all) we’d love to catch up.
Our student activites are broad and meet wherever interest dictates. It is a network of students as opposed to a rigid meeting.
Our main goal is to connect tomorrow’s communicators with one another and Jesus. If you or someone you know is studying journalism, arts, media production, cultural studies, sound design, performance, visual communication, poetry, literature, or something similar, let us know.
Christians in the Media holds weekly small groups at both the University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie Uni. We also have informal links with students further afield from campuses such as the University of Western Sydney and CSU Wagga.
During the year we run special events and seminars dealing with issues as diverse as climate change, euthanasia, and how to maintain integrity in the cut and thrust of the media.
In addition, we go away together on our mid year retreat and to the National Training Event in December.
