It's vital for every event that you know your one clear goal.  

Our goal for this first night 'Start the Ultimate Relationship' evening with Peter Jensen (and in fact for the whole mission) was that people might decide to do the Introducing God course.  We are starting this course with an Introductory night next Wednesday night.

So everything on the night worked towards this.  I'll outline how we proceeded.

Welcome - Dominic (Start the Ultimate Relatinship, it could be with a friend, a child, a lover, a spouse or God?  When we think of starting we think about starting to date or starting as in marriage.  Tonight - it's about God, and it's about starting - as in starting to 'date God.'  We will talk about the course Introducing God a little later - and that's a great way of getting to know God - but first a video of how some of our friends think about their ultimate relatinship.

Interview Peter (Aim here is only that we would like them as a person.  I asked where has he lived? How did Newtown change in the 25 years he lived in Newtown?  What were his fav King St eating places? Grandchildren?  How did he start the ultimate relationship?)
