How do I encourage Christian hosts to invite their friends to Introducing God?

The key to our friends coming to Introducing God is prayer, a godly life and an invitation. But there are a few steps along the way that can help:

• Step One: Raise awareness: People need to know we are Christian and that being part of the family of God is significant in our lives. First question is: Do your friends who don't have a relationship with God, know that you do?

• Step Two: Initial contact: We need to see our friends move from the one dimensional relationship we share at work (for example) into the two or three dimensional relationship - people we play sport with, who come to our homes. Second question: Has the person I am hoping to invite to Introducing God ever been to my home?
  
• Step Three: Pre-evangelism: We need to give our friends glimpses of our world-view. The best way to do this is to open the door for real conversations about important issues and let them see that it is safe to share discussion without us 'kicking the door down.'
  
• Step Four: Evangelism: At some point the discussion will turn to what it is that we actually think about God. It is at this point that we should be ready to invite our friends to Introducing God.
